This whimsical hobbit-like dollhouse comes easy to assemble. The pieces simply slide into one another making it easy to put up and take down, as needed. I wish the house itself connected in some way to the green base. We have the house sitting on a low table for the kids to easily reach inside. It gets jostled a bit but hasn't moved enough to knock it off the table.
It is charming to have in the room and versatile. We use doll-furniture sometimes. And animal figurines also. It's a great base for open-ended play!

I purchased a Twig Studio dollhouse secondhand that unfortunately was missing the base. I contacted Twig Studio and was able to quickly and easily arrange to order a replacement base. They shipped immediately and the base has arrived in time for Christmas! I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of their work and the excellent customer service. These houses are truly heirloom pieces.
