Frequently Asked Questions
What age is this dollhouse suitable for?
Our dollhouse is best suited for children ages 3 and up, due to small parts and assembly play. It's designed to grow with your child and inspire years of imaginative storytelling. It's a heirloom piece! Designed to last generations.
Is the dollhouse difficult to assemble?
Not at all! The slotted design means no tools are needed — just slide the pieces together. Assembly takes only a few minutes and can be part of the fun!
What materials do you use?
We use sustainably harvested birch wood, natural non-toxic stains, vegetable-tanned leather, and our signature beeswax polish. Each piece is hand-sanded to retain its natural feel.
Can the dollhouse be packed away?
Yes! The slotted design means the dollhouse can be easily taken apart and flat-packed, making it simple to store or take on the go.
What's shipping like?
We currently ship within Canada only via our website. For U.S. customers, our products are exclusively available through Bella Luna Toys.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Because each piece is handcrafted in small batches, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges at this time. If something arrives damaged, please reach out and we’ll make it right.
How do I care for the dollhouse?
To keep your dollhouse looking its best, wipe gently with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh cleaners or soaking.
What is Waldorf Education?
Waldorf education is a holistic approach that nurtures a child’s mind, body, and spirit through imaginative play, rhythm, and connection to nature. It values creativity, hands-on learning, and honoring each child’s natural development.
What is a Waldorf Toy?
Waldorf toys are simple, natural, and open-ended. They’re often made of wood and designed to leave room for imagination, rather than doing the playing for the child. Less detail = more creativity.
How do Waldorf toys help children learn and develop?
Waldorf toys support creative thinking, problem-solving, and emotional expression. By engaging the senses and leaving space for imagination, they help children build cognitive, motor, and social skills — all through meaningful play.
